Create opportunity right from your Google Mail using Google Contextual Gadget

August 26th, 2010

We are happy to announce the release of Google Contextual Gadget using which you can create an opportunity in Applane CRM right from your Google mail.

Now you can create an opportunity on the fly from your Google mail account. A contextual gadget will appear at the bottom of the mail with the option to “Create an Opportunity”. When user clicks on the button the panel will expand with fields required for creating the opportunity like ‘opportunity title’, ‘owner email id’, ‘organization name’, ‘website address’, ‘contact name’ etc. The fields which can make use of information from the current email will be populated with default values to save unnecessary effort.

On clicking the ‘save’ button, an Organization, Contact and Opportunity will automatically be created in Applane CRM. Additionally, the email will be attached to the communication thread. This functionality is useful for the sales team and will save a lot of time otherwise required to achieve the same result.

Customer relationship management is a broadly recognized, widely-implemented strategy for managing and nurturing a company ’s interactions with clients and sales prospects. This is how some of the very credential webpages define a CRM tool. But do all existing CRM’s really serve the required purpose? While exploring an answer to this significant research, we concluded that there are lot of such features which are in dire need by the industry but are missing in almost all the existing CRM tools. Applane finally decided to take an initiative in picking up those non addressed issues and created Applane CRM.

Applane CRM is designed to automatically fetch an organization’s google page rank. Whenever a new organization is entered into Applane CRM, it automatically ranks up the organization on the basis of its Google page rank and further the data is sorted on the basis of these ranks while running new campaigns. This practice ensures that organizations with more potential get more consideration from vendor company and in turn helps sales team to allocate their efforts in very prudential manner by targeting prospects on the basis of ranks. Isn’t that really fantastic to let your sales team devote more time in other constructive jobs and Applane CRM does your organization ranking work.
